52 New Dengue Cases | Patna News


PATNA: With a dip in temperature, the daily count of dengue cases from 67 reported on Tuesday dropped to 52 on Wednesday across the state.
As per the health department’s data, Jehanabad reported the maximum 20 dengue cases, followed by 13 in Patna.
Three cases each had been reported from Nawada and Gaya, 2 each in Munger and Muzaffarpur and one each in Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, East Champaran, Katihar, Saharsa, Saran and Vaishali. Altogether 23 districts reported no new dengue cases in the last 24 hours.
The new cases took the overall tally to 12,850 since January. The number of people diagnosed with dengue has reached 9,112. Nalanda has registered 495 dengue cases so far, followed by 474 in Munger, 300 in Nawada, 250 in Vaishali, 228 in Jehanabad, 187 in East Champaran, 183 in Gaya, 170 in Bhagalpur and 134 in Muzaffarpur since January. The other districts reported double-digit cases so far.
