CES 2023: Harman announces Intelligent Healthcare Platform

Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, has launched the Intelligent Healthcare Platform, a digital health platform that aims to assist healthcare and life sciences companies in providing personalized, customer-focused services. The platform is focused on connected technologies and solutions for the automotive, consumer, and enterprise markets.
The company has developed the Intelligent Healthcare Platform to address the challenges that healthcare and life sciences companies face in providing high-quality care in the face of a rapidly expanding patient data ecosystem. The platform integrates data, analytics, intelligence, and governance functions in a secure, cost-effective, and privacy-preserving way, using artificial intelligence and machine learning to offer improved customer experience and engagement through the use of predictive analytics and actionable insights on data from various sources.
The Intelligent Healthcare Platform has been designed to be adaptable and able to meet current and future needs in the digital healthcare space. It prioritizes compliance, privacy, and safety through strong data governance and controls, and is built for agility with features such as simplified processes, improved collaboration, faster decision-making from unstructured data, and automated IT architectures. These features allow for flexible and agile operations.
The Harman Intelligent Healthcare Platform is a patent-pending solution that includes four main components: the Intelligence Machine, which utilizes machine learning and deep learning algorithms and models to support a range of use cases; the Data Machine, which is able to securely ingest, process, and store data from various sources; the Analytics & Visualization Machine, which stores and analyzes data to provide actionable insights; and the Governance Machine, which ensures compliance with standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST, ENS High, HDS, and C5.
“As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, the need for intelligent and innovative solutions has never been greater. At HARMAN, we are addressing this need by developing a state-of-the-art healthcare platform that utilizes the latest advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Our platform is designed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of medical diagnoses, enabling healthcare providers to deliver the best possible care to their patients. By leveraging the power of AI, we are able to provide a solution that will help to revolutionize the way that healthcare is delivered, ultimately improving outcomes for patients and providers alike.” said David Owens, Senior vice president, Digital Transformation Solutions at HARMAN.
