Teacher Dies: Kin Block Road After Teacher Dies ‘mysteriously’ | Allahabad News

Prayagraj: Family members and supporters of a teacher, who died under mysterious circumstances after falling into a well at Seikhpur village during a wedding ceremony, blocked the vehicular movement on Udaypur road in Pratapgarh on Thursday while placing the body on road.
The family members said Shivpratap had gone to Seikhpur village to attend the wedding of one of his friends.They alleged that Shivpratap was intentionally thrown into the well when people of bride and groom sides came at loggerheads over playing a song on DJ on Wednesday night.
Upon being alerted, senior police officials, including circle officer (Lalganj), along with forces rushed to the spot and assured a detailed probe and action accordingly. After assurance, the locals lifted the blockade and the body was later sent to Manikpur for last rites. They also demanded compensation and job for the kin of deceased. The family members also submitted names of two persons to the police who had an enmity with the teacher over some local issues. No arrests have been made so far.

Man dies in police custody in Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar, family alleges died of beating by cops
A road rage incident in northwest Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar area resulted in the death of Suraj Prakash, a 32-year-old man, while in police custody. The altercation between two parties escalated despite police intervention. Suraj Prakash and two others were taken to BJRM Hospital for examination after the arrival of an emergency response vehicle. However, Suraj Prakash fell ill at the police station and was pronounced dead upon his return to the hospital. The victim’s family alleges that he was beaten by the policemen present at the scene.
Hassan teacher kidnapped, parents suspect kin’s role
A 23-year-old schoolteacher named Arpita was abducted in broad daylight by three men near her school while she was on her way to attend Kanaka Jayanti celebrations. The abduction happened at 10am and Arpita’s parents suspect their relative, Ramu, to be involved. CCTV footage shows the trio pushing Arpita into an SUV and driving away. The police have formed special teams to trace the victim and are investigating all angles, including a rejected marriage proposal from Ramu.
