Mukherjee Nagar Murder Case: This incident took place in Mukherjee Nagar area of ​​North-West Delhi. On the night of 28 November, a call was received in the police control room, in which a woman informed that one of her sons had come into the house and stabbed her brother-in-law. As soon as information about the incident was received, Assistant Sub Inspector Lakshmi Chand was sent to the spot.
According to DCP Abhishek Dhaniya of North West District, the team that reached the spot found a youth lying in a bleeding condition. The police immediately took the young man to VJRM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police identified the deceased as Chhote Lal, resident of Indira Vikas Colony and registered a case of murder and started searching for the accused.
DCP Abhishek Dhaniya said that considering the seriousness of the crime, a joint team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Rajeev Shah, SHO of Mukherjee Nagar police station, in which Inspector Brijesh Kumar was also included. Within a few hours, the police identified the perpetrator of the murder and arrested him. The accused has been identified as Deshraj.
During interrogation, Deshraj told the police that a year ago he had beaten the deceased, due to which he had suffered injuries on his head. On 28 November 2024, when he was leaving the deceased's street, Chhote Lal stopped his rickshaw. During the argument that started between the two, Chhote Lal slapped Deshraj, after which he left from there.
To avenge this slap, Deshraj reached Chhotalal's house with a knife. Before anyone could understand anything, he started attacking Chhote Lal with a knife. After committing the crime he fled from the spot. On the behest of Deshraj, the police have also recovered the knife used in the crime.
