CTET Admit Card 2024: When will CBSE release hall tickets for Central Teacher Eligibility Test? Find all details here

CTET Admit Card 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is soon expected to release the admit cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 December exam. Once the admit card is released, candidates can download the hall tickets from the official website of CTET i.e. ctet.nic.in. Currently, no official date for when the admit card will be released, however, the official notification states that the admit card will be out, “two days before the day of examination.”

When will CTET December 2024 exam be held?

The exam will be held on Saturday i.e. December 14. Prior to this, the exam was scheduled on December 15. In a statement CBSE wrote, “Keeping in view the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on 14th December 2024 (Saturday). In case number of candidates is more in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 15th December, 2024 (Sunday).”

The candidates should report at the examination centre at 7:30 am for Paper – II and at 12:30 pm for Paper– I.

CTET 2024 December exam shift timings

The exam will be held in two shifts: Paper 2 will be held in the morning at 9.30 am to 12.30 pm while the Paper 1 will be held in the evening at 2.30 pm – 5.00 pm.

CTET 2024 exam pattern

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking. Paper I is for candidates aiming to teach classes I to V, while Paper II is for those intending to teach classes VI to VIII. Candidates who wish to teach both levels (classes I to V and VI to VIII) must take both papers.
