Despite this, news of fraud and fraud often comes. A shocking case has come to light in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The woman trapped a film producer and extorted Rs 30 lakh from him. Months after the incident, the film producer complained to the police, after which a case has been registered.
A case has been registered against four people for cheating a Nagpur-based film producer of Rs 30 lakh by promising to help him get a loan of Rs 2 crore. The police officer gave this information on Saturday. Complainant Amit Parmeshwar Dhupe told the police that six months ago a woman had contacted him claiming that she had contacts in government and political circles and that she could help him in getting a loan.
Demand of Rs 40 lakh
Quoting the complaint lodged, the police officer said that the woman introduced Dhupe to another person. He said that his son works in a public sector bank and he can get him a loan of Rs 2 crore if the filmmaker pays a fee of Rs 40 lakh. It was told in the complaint that after this Dhupe was introduced to two more people. Dhupe signed an agreement in October and paid Rs 30 lakh to the accused, promising to pay Rs 10 lakh later. However, even after this the film producer was never given a loan. Later the accused stopped picking up his phone.

On December 19, one of the accused threatened Dhupe, while the woman reportedly said she would file a case against him, the officer said. After this the film producer lodged a complaint in the police station. Police have registered a case against all four accused. The complainant told the police that the accused had claimed that they could help him get a loan of Rs 300 crore.
