New Delhi. Delhi Police has arrested a vicious thief who had stolen Rs 15 lakh from Ludhiana Punjab just a few days ago. When he was not satisfied even after spending Rs 15 lakh from Ludhiana, he spent Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand from the luxury car of a businessman from Delhi. The arrested person is an active member of 'Thak-Thak' gang. You will be shocked to know the story of its theft. Crime Branch of Delhi Police has obtained many information from the clever thief, if you listen to it then you will forget to keep cash in the trunk of the car on the roads of Delhi. Because, this thief instantly makes cash worth lakhs of rupees disappear in the blink of an eye.

According to Delhi Police, the arrested person, along with his associates, had stolen cash worth Rs 5,50,000 from a car in Shastri Nagar, Police Station Sarai Rohilla area on December 9, 2024. The thief has been arrested after scanning several CCTV footages. Delhi Police receives a call from a person named Pradeep Gupta at around 9 pm on 9th December. He told, when he was going from Sadar Bazar to his house in Shalimar Bagh in his Kia Seltos car with the driver. When I reached Shastri Nagar metro station, an unknown person came to me and told me about the leakage of engine oil from my car. When I stopped my car, I found that some oil was spread on the bonnet of the car. He started inspecting his car from outside, after inspection he came back and sat in the car with the driver. But, when he came home, the bag full of money was missing.

Despite having eyes open, lakhs of rupees went missing
As soon as Delhi Police received the complaint, information was taken about the members of Thak-Thak gang in Sarai Rohilla police station area. A team of AEKC, Crime Branch was making continuous efforts to nab the thieves and recover the property in the case. Information was being obtained about the suspects involved in the theft and Delhi Police had started raids. Meanwhile, an accused was arrested from Indraprastha Park, Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi.

This person, named Sanjay alias Sanju, is only 21 years old. During police interrogation, he confessed to the crime of theft on 9 December. Stolen cash amounting to Rs 4,92,000 has been recovered from his possession. He was also seen in the CCTV footage of the theft. Sanjay alias Sanju belongs to a poor family from Madangir area of ​​Delhi. He is an active member of the Thak-Thak gang. Just a few days ago, the accused was found involved in a case of theft of Rs 15 lakh in Ludhiana, Punjab. He along with his associates used to commit crimes to earn easy money to fulfill their illegal needs. Delhi Police has arrested him and sent him to jail.
